Yeppers, I can see the old wags huddlin' up at your wake and wheezin' the tale how ThatGirl, life of the party and all, stepped on a splinter gettin' no better than a pinprick and turnin' up found stiff as a board sittin' on the front porch 3 days later on dead as a door nail from septicemia. I reckon this is just about a good a lesson as a hellfire sermon from the Preacher how a young gal, prettier than most, gettin' all our young men, who haven't yet left town to go live a life of sin in the city, trippin' all over themselves to court her, and find herself with all the luck one fine day and then end with no luck at all and just as final as a june bug splattered on the windshield of a just washed car runnin' down the freeway.

Her momma probably told her about lads like yourself who might look like a friendly ol' hound with all that tail waggin' and slurpy licks on your face.... but once he's had his romp with ya on the hayloft ... he's skedaddled off over the county line and despite how you might pine and all you won't see him bringin' ya a bunch of wildflowers to your front porch nor likely stickin' around long enough to meet your daddy and sit down for Sunday supper.
