I Believe That Words Are Powerful

Someone once told me that words won't have power over you unless it's spoken by someone who means a lot to you. I believe that this is true and not for the reason that they said it with the intention to hurt but simply because we ended up feeling bad about it due to some circumstances that applies to us. the thing is, we can't always try to use words to make people think because we do not have the same experiences and same way of thinking. If we do this, we might end up making more mess out of being misunderstood... that's why sometimes saying hurtful things is necessary to make a point and not to intentionally hurt someone.

Words, like god, only have power if you believe in them.

Yeah Words can make or break someone.
Words can be verbal swords.
