I Write Poetry

When I began to write this poem,
I searched for inspirational wild animals.
I wanted to write something beautiful
About majestic creatures
That for a long time were misunderstood.
But there is nothing magical about animals.
All that is on their minds is survival.
Hunt, reproduce, and repeat.
Each with their own tongues;
Each with different colors and textures.
But each with the same mindset;
Survive as long as possible.
