the usual

sitting in front of the screen again
being thankful I'm alone
as i routinely cycle among
e-mail
s w
the odd dating site
scrolling
stumbling
looking for even a hint of connection
to serve the fantasy --
that replacement reality
so lonely
in all its comfort

oh the indulgences of being an introvert
