I Think Christianity Has Serious Problems

My Christian up bringing was always biased on the good side off the bible like the feeding of the 5000, why blastphomy is wrong. rather than questioning Gods morals and ethics. Like how a good and loving God is OK with slavery and genocide. And how Gods plan involves the death of innocent people.

Why do you think God is OK with slavery and genocide? Most of Christianity starts with the premise that God gave humans free will. This is our world to make good or bad, and we can either ask for help or deny God. The fact that he allows us to commit great evil is proof that he allows us the freedom to do as we desire. It is not proof that he doesn't care or chooses where or who evil or misfortune will be visited on.

Of course this is just my understanding, and undoubtedly others will either agree or disagree.

2 I have had people from a free different churches tell me the same quotes from the bible.
