I Hate When People Think They Can Tell Me Who I Am

Why is it that MOST people on this site expect to get a response when they are not willing to say anything about themselves, their age, their likes and dislikes, their reason for being on here. Unless I know something about a person I will not "friend" them, or message them, or comment on their postings. On Experience Project there were many more people, it was presumed that you would say something about yourself, there was a lot less vulgarity, idiotic questions, and dirty and suggestive postings. There were people with real experiences and confessions, people were often helpful, and it was a much better experience all around. This site suffers from lack of management control over what content is posted. If it weren't for a few people that can only communicate over this mechanism I would leave, and if I can find a way to communicate with them through other means I will depart.
One of the stupidest things about this site is the inability to create meaningful titles for posts and have to rely on topics that someone else used on Experience Project.
