You guys have one note you play. A Shrill alarm. THERE'S A SPIDER (a hundred miles sway) THERE'S A SPIDER (somewhere in the room) THERE'S A SPIDER (dead on the floor) and so when there is a real spider about to bite someone, no one pays any mind to it and we all suffer for it.
You guys are your own worste enemy and defeat yourself with your own tactics used to dominate the narrative and drown out decent. It's been an utterly brilliant tool that has worked wonders for you for decades, so it's no wonder you are clinging to it even in the face of a massive backlash.
I actually encourage you to keep it up. I hope you guys get more intolerant and more shrill, more angry and indignant, because it's destroying your argument by revealing your true character.

I'd like to show you one of the reasons why, as I stated in another post, you "don't live in the real world." I know you don't want to hear it, but the Democratic party has historically been the side that oppresses people. They still do.

So do you really feel oppressed and like you are being denied your humanity and the right to exist? Really?
As oppressive as the last eight years have been for me I've never felt that I was being denied my humanity or right to exist.
I have felt betrayed and duped though. My daughter is diabetic. I was led to believe that Obama care was going to be the answer. Instead she has received less care for more money and higher deductibles. And now she's being priced out of it due to the increases that are taking effect. This is one very angry father who is sick of being lied to.

@Dan2kboi: Yes the last 8 years were the worst in my lifetime. I do not believe it could get worse now that we defeated hillary. However, since Trump is at heart a democrat and has already reversed some very important issues he promised, I am less convinced he will be effective. Not that I ever really thought he would do what he promised but better than the alternative. If obamacare gets repealed then we might have a slight chance of recovery but inheriting 20 trillion in debt won't help.
