I Have Something to Say

A little something to ponder.

Leaves in the garden, I have no tree,
It's the season, friend said to me,

Cats visit, chased, they flee,
I've no feline pet, you see,
It's their nature, friend said to me,

Fireworks fall, their sparkle lost,
Mess cleared up, at my cost,
They were set too close you see,
It's November, friend said to me,

Shaking my gate with rictus grin,
Two lunatics want to get in,
I have good fences as you can see,
They have no need to bother me.
I'm in the middle, no tree, no cat, I say,
I work hard, so others can live off my pay.

No one pays any heed to me?

It's the season.....
It's their nature.....
It's November......
