I think humanity would be doing good to once again think of the sun and the moon as gods.

I wish more people thought like this.

It's kind of common sense, I think. But being kind and respectful to everything is too inconvenient for most people. Indifference is woven into the fabric of our way of life. A good example of this are sweat shops. Almost all of our clothing are made in places like these, but we are too indifferent or ignorant to buy more ethically sourced clothes or do something to help the people and change the way these sorts of places are run.

Exactly, and they are rather vital to life on Earth. It's actually quite rational to feel a deep affinity for our solar system. I can't help but feel that the Egyptians were onto something.
