Also, if you are unsure of who to donate to, I suggest the Hydrocephalus Association. That money will go to hydrocephalus research, which is an underfunded field. 1 or 2 in every 1000 babies in the US are born with hydrocephalus, and the only treatment is a lifetime with a brain shunt (a giant tube from the brain to the abdomen).
But if you already made a donation elsewhere, that's cool too! :)

If it's just $2000 you need, you can probably be able to get a loan for that if you don't reach your goal by fundraising. There will be interest, but in my opinion, it's worth it for the education and diploma. Good luck!

On Giving Tuesday, all donations sent in are doubled. This extra money to double the donations comes from big corporations and billionaires, like Bill Gates. And I agree that there are plenty of opportunities to help, but so many people have just enough money for their necessities and many people do not have time to volunteer, so they prefer to donate when they know their donation can be doubled.
