Green bay has some pretty high taxes due to the city owning the team. I don't care for the eastern coast of Wisconsin in general

Then you'd be perfectly fine here. The only thing that may bother you if you're coming from a warm climate is our cold winters. The NOAA recently did a rating of the top 25 coldest cities with at least 50,000 people living in them. 5 of them are Wisconsin cities. So we get a little chilly here between December and March.

I'm from Janesville area. It's at the bottom of the state by Illinois. Green bay is very nice, I've been there many times as several family members live there. That would be Brown County surrounding Green Bay.
