I am a New Member at Similar Worlds

I was a member of EP on and off since around 2005/6 but found that the censorship in the latter stages became ridiculous to the point it felt like a children's site, so I gradually stopped spending any real time there. I am hoping Similar Worlds will avoid following the same path as EP and will strive to keep the site appealing for all age groups. I met many great people on EP, and it was a shame to see the site close even though I was no longer spending time there. Hopefully I will meet new people on Similar Worlds and maybe catch up with a few I already know from EP.

I totally agree about the over censorship at ep..many also agree, they need to find a good balance and some have to learn to be more tolerant providing those that have alternative lifestyles post within the boundaries..

Very true. There must always be censorship, of course but the issue for me is the degree. EP seemed to get to the point where it drove many people away which isn't a good business model for a site wanting to flourish.

Exactly and we shouldn't try and ride off members with alternative lifestyles just because they make us uncomfortable..there's room for everyone.

I do miss EP but am trying to rebuild on this new world. Great to see other EPers on here. :-) --DW
