Have you ever had a moment where your previously strong belief in something had to be rethought because you saw a discrepancy you hadn't seen before?

If you have will you share a little bit about it?

Have you every had your belief in something shaken when the facts changed, but your belief wasn't lost just changed to accommodate new information?

If you want to, you can read my story under the group heading: I Wan To Know The Truth Behind My Family's Lies and Secrets

I have had to reevaluate my family and my family's friends (whom I now call "frenemies") and of course, my mother, who had murder in her eyes for a reason. I found out my difficult mother was a little more than a bad tempered woman and I also found out all my bad luck was not happenstance or a gypsy curse.

What kind of belief. My faith in certain people was destroyed on a few occasions.
I am more talking about a world view or outlook, a belief system. SOmething that was central to your identity and your outlook on life. Faith in certain people can easily be lost if they no longer live up to the standard you expect. It is sad and hurtful but easy to understand.
