Shambles she said in her tiara

Dining in the castles top floor that fateful night. My sorrows in my soup, and the rain outside. So warm, yet so cold, the goosebumps on my arms. Such a dull sorrowful woe.

Her father the King, looking in a bored disappointment. Life is getting tiring for the old fool, can only imagine what his highness is dreaming of.

Sometimes as I lay me down to sleep I imagine walking the halls of ancient palaces, temples, towers and keeps. In the cinematic fashion where the past is in black and white. The people that lived in those times are like shadows seen in the corner of the eye, voices like whispering wind under the doors. I don't know why, but it soothes me.
I do that too and it soothes me but mine is always in colour
