Have you ever noticed that the more you want sleep the less of it you seem to get?

I do have a sleeping problem as long as I want to sleep or it is time to sleep. I don't seem to have the same problem when I wake up an hour before the alarm goes off. I fall asleep very well then. What is the deal. LOL
