Why do I have this recurring dream?

I find myself in the roof top of a skyscraper and no way to go down except to jump.No doors,no windows ,nothing.Not even a phone.
I am sitting there alone thinking if jumping from such a high building could really save my life..
I am extremely nervous, shivering and sweating profusely ..
Cried aloud a few times but nobody hears..and All I want is to get down safely,that's on my mind ,until I wake up and find myself totally drenched in perspiration.

This is probably the 3rd time I am experiencing this strange dream..

Any ideas why ?

lol maybe its just coincidental, but if were writing a story with a character that had that recurring dream i'd make it like a metaphor for being trapped in life and a leap of faith being the only way out. Too cheesy XD ?

Trapped in life?what kind of?Idk,but I am no where close to being trapped in real life..

@Mindscape: lol im sure you aren't, I wouldn't take what i said to heart. I'm just saying that's how I would use that dream as a concept. I have no idea what it could actually mean, if it even means anything. I know i used to have recurring dreams regarding a certain traumatic experience I had but it was kind of a clear correlation in that case.

Probably.We all want certain things to be done ,no matter how much resistance we face.
But Idk ,it's been my general way of life.Getting the things done ,without much compromise.
