@pezzza: have you ever listened to the BBC? It is extreme left wing. I quit using it as a reliable news source years ago because it no longer allowed both sides equal time.
@pezzza: I make it a habit to read both left and right news sources. The one with the least emotion and the most rational is the one I trust more. I usually fall somewhere in between. Here in Canada when the CBC sends out its National Research Official Time signal I doubt it. I have seen them take a speech made by a prominent politician and through clever cut and paste exactly reversed what the politician had said. I know I listened very carefully to the entire speech as it happened.
I think the great irony in that is that conservatives are just as easily offended as outraged as anyone else. Our political discourse is built on outrage culture right now.
For example, people lost their [i]goddamn minds[/i] over a freaking Starbucks cup.
Why would anyone force you? My point is that you can't accuse people of being easily offended when you're just as easily offended by silly crap like bathrooms and coffee cups.
@TyphoidJerry: My point was that I am not here in this world to avoid offending people. If you are offended by what I say or do then it is your problem and not mine to fix. I don't like the stand Staryucks took. My solution is to simply avoid them. I don't like the stand Target took. My choice is made simpler because their stupid management screwed up their entry into Canada so badly that there is no Targets in Canada. As Forest Gump said "stupid is as stupid does".
@offingg: Actually the leftists have hijacked the name liberal. What is presently known as conservative is far more liberal than those leftists who self describe as being liberal.

@offingg: I think you are too young to know the history of the evolution of the word liberal. Try again when you do a little more reading. Leftists are notoriously short on history believing as they do that history starts now and therefore there is no need to study it. I simply look back on the liberal party of Canada. The ones who interred the Japanese and turned away the Jews in the 1930s and 40s. The party has evolved into an open door everyone is welcome leftist party. As we used to say. Leftists are liberals in a hurry.
I think they Call liberal's protesting trump a Flock of cucks and blue haired landwhales being triggered into some much needed exercise by Trump's cabinet. It's one of Trump's many successes!
