Yes, a bit. I remember how some were angry that Richard Nixon was elected in 1968. But, no democrat, save Bobby Kennedy, COULD have won the white house that year. Johnson had fucked things up so bad. BUT--Nixon DID calm the country down and ease a lot of tension at home and abroad, which was his specialty. (foreign policy and diplomacy)
So yes, I am looking for ward to the change. but I also understand the anger and angst. And yes, a lot of it is humorous. A lot of those adding to the drama will be ashamed of themselves in years to come.

It is amusing. I don't think it'll be talked about for decades though. In four years this will be forgotten when people have a new election to get all fired up over.
