Why would you even care if someone is using a fake picture?

If there ever was a place where it would be more acceptable than anywhere else to pretend to be someone you aren't, it's the internet.

But mine is really me

I dont care about pictures. I don't even care if its a guy pretending to be a girl or old pretending to be young. It doesn't affect how i interact with people, but it does make me wonder how sad and pathetic of a person that person has to be to do those things. It's anonymous, be yourself nobody cares.

I'm not bothered if the picture, name, age or gender are fake. All I'm interested in is what people say and if it's interesting or amusing.

Sometimes I catch people lying to me about their age, and maybe even gender and feel really guilty about it, but I don't mind. I know more about them as a person through their words to understand them, and like them. I'd forgive them readily for their foolish deed. :) It shocks them sometimes, but they're my friend and a harmless lie shouldn't harm a friendship. ^^
