I am catching myself waiting for something that's never gonna come on its own.
That's pretty dumb, when my time could be better spent, positive thinking, and
all that stuff.
I am finding out that I'm pretty crazy. I'm the weird one in the room, the ugly
duckling. I'm dumbly trying to be invisible when it's impossible and it'd be better
to find my own way without comparison to others, but easier said than done.
I never thought my life would be like this.

No, it was by mistake.
I don't think you're alone in your tendency to wait. I've been guilty of the same for most of my life.
But sticking out is a double-edged sword. You have the freedom to carve out your own path and do things your way, but you tend to alienate many people in the process. At least I do. I know I'll never be like them, so my path is the only lasting option I have
