peanutsauntiep1982 no seriously you are to be congratulated it must of took a lot of work and good will power to be able to stick to your goal

It was a fight, and sometimes I had to bribe myself, but I got a great start this year. Next year I'n going to keep doing the same thing, but find a way to add some toning and strengthening into it. I hear skii poles work well for toning and cardio....

Holy crap that's amazing! I didn't do anything worth noting

Surviving is good. This time nine years ago (end of 2007), I'd had the year from hell, or Murphys' Year as I call it, and surviving each hour was the best I could do, so I feel ya.

@PeanutsauntieP1982: that's how this year went. I figure it can only get better from here
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
Yes indeed! If you need someone to talk to about stuff, I'm here, just a message away. You're not alone.

Wow. Well done. How do you feel? Was it just the diet you changed?
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
Thank you! I feel better, the best I've felt in a long while. No, it wasn't just the diet, daily exercise (99% walking) played a HUGE role as well
lucetta12 · 36-40, F
@PeanutsauntieP1982: And some people say walking isn't exercise, when it is. Good job.
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
@lucetta12: If it burns calories, it's exercise. I walk 4-6 miles a day.

@PeanutsauntieP1982: I've been taking Metformin, and alphabetic as a vitamin supplement. Earlier this month my AIC had come down to 6.0 (from 11.5 in May, when I was first diagnosed).
