how long do you have to be sick for to go see a doctor?

how long do yo have to be sick for to want to go see the doctor? I am finally going ot see a doctor but i feel like its either going to go away by the time or it will be so ad i wont be able to make it. i just feel really noxious some days and others im fine.

It depends on my symptoms. If it feels like a cold or flu, I tend to wait awhile. Ear infections, I'll make an appointment fairly quickly. I do get kidney stones occasionally, so depending on the severity of the pain, I either ride it out and make an appointment if I need a refill of pain meds, or head to the emergency room within the hour.
