When you have to be around someone you don't like, how do you deal with the situation?

I hardly speak....so they don't hang around very long. 😉

Ignore them as much as possible.

I've got a decent "people time" subroutine that can handle most of these kinds of situations with a moderate amount of grace. No sparkling though, that'll just invite more time around them.

Its rare i dont like someone but when I do it shows, so they are more inconfortable than I am 😂

Speak in generalities and keep things short and professional like

I find it impossible to pretend so I'll just make minimum contact!

Many times, I dislike myself too but I deal with it upfront - by not listening to the relative self's 'so called tantrums'. In the same way, I stay indulged even if the surroundings are unfavorable.
What comes to me is not my business. What I make out of it is definitely my business!
