Yes, mostly. We don't wear shoes around the house. I just never grew up like that.

Hell no... my siblings leave mess everywhere they go. Crumbs, water spillings--the worst feeling is stepping into a mysterious puddle while wearing socks or barefoot.

It's too cold for that here and with a new puppy it's not a good idea.

I am always barefoot at home but don't have a rule for it.

We have a dog and kids, so that isn't really possible. The floor is always covered in hair, sand, rocks, toys etc.

I'm barefoot in my house as a rule. Cleaner, comfortable & more relaxing.

Whose making the rule and why?

For myself I do, but I couldn't ask that of others. I will ask them to remove their shoes though.
