Ok. I'll have a go !
1. I think in the near future many countries will take an isolationist stance, rather than a globalist one.
Especially since us Brits are about to leave the E:U and America has elected Mr.Trump.
2. think it's quite likely that the world economy is likely to collapse. Partly for the reason above, but also because nobody wants to invest when there's such insecurity about !
3. I can see there might well be a lot of job insecurity as a result. Whether you live in the U.S. or in Europe.
4. Foreign policy will be fairly inward looking. Especially after such a protracted stay in the Middle-East.
This could of course work out quite well. Provided you choose your friends wisely !
5. I think we are all going to see our earnings diminish; hous prices either slump or hit the roof depending on monetary policy applied.
This will cause gridlock. People won't be able to move, prices will get ridiculous and might hit other markets as a result.
All in all. Not much to be cheery about five years from now.
