I don't know, but I've heard waxing gives a better initial result and lasts longer but is painful and ingrown hairs are a big problem.

When you wax you rip off pieces of your skin. Not good.

You don't rip off pieces of your skin. If you get it professionally done and your skin gets ripped off, clearly they didn't do something right and should probably be sued
