i know many... some have met their biological folks the rest don't care.

i was about the only fostered kid. they make fun of me "unwanted kid but will baby sit for the government funding"

but it's all good natured ribbing. i met my folks in my 20s... wow did i LUCK out on that one!

My moms youngest sister was adopted. She's known since she was little that she came from her moms heart, not her womb. In other words, she's known all her life she's adopted. And my friends' two oldest and her baby are adopted. She has one biological child.

I was put up for adoption when i was 3yrs by my birth mom.. she kept my siblings. I slways remembered them and their names and the pain. I was adopted by the wrong family and never loved but daily abused.
I started search to mrt her when i turned 18..and took 4 months to find her.. i moved in with her and tried to reconnect something that could never be. She amed me for her past and addictions to drug and alcohol saying that if i did not cried that much she would have kept me and never turned to that *shit* although it was a lie as she was a nude dancer went got pregnant with me and was doing all those already.
She used me and hurt me so i left.. last time i saw her my oldest was a month old. I never looked back.

My uncle, who is now in his 70s, was adopted. He never met his birth mom but did discover he had 17 brothers and sister. His mother had been a prostitute a small mining town. He's met a few but not all.
He had great adoptive parents.

Today my daughter was notified on facebook *We've been looking for you;* your brothers and sisters in Germany. As it appears the story came about with the birth mother of all these children were to NEVER to be contacted by the receiving party. We, the adopting parents had to sign an agreement. We did. The Children signed nothing. So if you know or are aware of siblings of Monika Krauss of Bad Kissingen, The siblings are wanting to re-unite. Had this been when she was young...I'd be running for a lawyer. She's 40.

Get back to me if you believe your birth mother was Monika Krauss in Bad Kissingen Germany. The birth mother had more children than any of them can account for. I gave my daughter a German name. Christiane. To let her know her true heritage.

My 16 year old nephew was adopted within the family. He has had a great life and he is adorable. Not like your normal adoption but he knows he is adopted and he knows who his parents are.
