Why would you like to propose to someone/be proposed to by someone?

Or if you're engaged/married how did you propose/ be proposed to?
I want my boyfriend to propose to me in sign language. I don't care, when, where, or if he has a ring or not. The most heartfelt proposal to me would be doing it in sign language and I would probably cry so hard and fall in love with him all over again(if you know me well then you already know the reason why and how special that would be).
