Can you sit in silence with your SO?

Yesterday he came home from work, we went to get his and the kids haircut.
We came home ate dinner and sat in the living room quietly, no tv, no phones, no music, we just relaxed, he held me in his arms and I laid my head on his chest, he rested his chin on top of my head and we just sat there, quietly, no words necessary, comfortable in each other's warmth.

Then my kids walked into the living room and said nothing except gave us a hug and kiss and scurried off to bed. They were completely unfazed by our show of affection and our lack of words for this one particular instance 💞
