Do new dads actually panic when their baby is born?

I used to work as a birth doula and in my experience dads are certainly very concerned but never really panic or freak out.
I think it's an unfair stereotype.
i got four kids...... the adrenaline being a new dad is a high like no other. and just had my first grandchild a year ago...... an even better feeling.

You are right. That is even greater!

They seem to panic from the time she says, "it's time" until the baby is placed in their arms.

Never seen a vagina take that form of shape and I was shit scared but hung in to help her and the baby. Luckily she has a loving husband and a good family. I was only freaked for the moment but instantly fell in love with the little soul

What did he panic about?
@Possibility: the overwhelming sense of responsibility that you are totally responsible for this persons welfare for life.
