Why do people act like they shouldnt be alone on Valentines Day ?

Like how unconfident does a person have to be to feel a sense of validation on that day. That is...If they are with someone. If they arent then their world falls to pieces. What gives. Valentines Day is just another day. If youre unhappy on that day youre gonna be unhappy with someone on that day anyway. If youre unhappy. 🙂

I don't think its about validation...more it highlights their loneliness. Comsumerist culture also consistently reminds them in February.

Personally I dislike valentines day. You should tell your loved ones you love them every day.

IT is another day but I guess it was a day where I was extra romantic with my wife an we would have a special day of it. So now that she passed I gotta admit Valentine's Day is hard as I enjoyed spending that day doing simple things for that person. Course u r unhappy on any given day but if you are not sharing that day with the one you love, guess you feel it more on that day due to societal pressures etc
