the same reason i dont trust anyone anymore. people now a days are mostly sociopaths. self seekers. a lot of people are rude and like to use and abuse others. for me i cant trust girls been lied to way to much and most of them just want to fool around with every dick and harry. maturity and decency seems to be a thing of the past.

People will do you wrong plenty of times... you have to guard and protect your heart and soul--please do not let the wrong doings of others affect the innocence of your love. Be wary, but do not be afraid to love... there are some great people left in the world.

I would avoid dating older men for a while and focus on yourself. The good ones usually come along when you least suspect it.
