it's all about the complexity and how difficult you want to do things. I think for abut $100 on legalzoom.com on the low end. thousands if have a huge estate and many kids/mistresses and general oddities.

Define legal will. Scribble one on a sheet of paper and it is legal.

If it's a very simple will, you can write it out in your own handwriting.

You can also go to Legal-Zoom or one of those sites and just fill in the blanks and follow instructions for a very small fee.
