How do you think having a baby change couples? I'm curious.

A baby changes couples into triples; causes a change in sleeping patterns; teaches two to care about someone else more than themselves. Time increases its pace. You learn to work together. It changes your lives forever, but for the better. You will know when you have a baby.

goodbye sex life and a goodnight sleep
It changes everything. You are not a couple you are a family. It adds chaos and dilema. You are no longer able to concentrate on one another. A child comes first forever. You lose the very thing that brought you together.
And, boy, all things you accumulate! You cannot take a baby without anywhere without a lot of stuff.

Of course.
The entire relationship has to be redefined.

Kid comes first...no longer the parents

I wonder if the guy feels weird about putting his thing in her after the baby is born- and maybe before too.

Having a baby does not ruin your vagina or your sex life if that's what all that hemming and hawing was about....

@PaperSnowflake: I was asking the guys. I think they would better know about their feelings.

You're parents. The child comes first by definition, and everything that defined your time together as a couple tends to take a back seat. Most couples agree to these changes and understand why it has to be that way, but the adjustment is often still difficult.
