I Love History

I'm afraid the US is heading for proving the old saying"if you don't learn from history. You are doomed to repeat it.". We haven't been this divided since the war of northern aggression and I'm afraid we maybe headed towards another one.

That's what happens when you believe a social experiment is a good way to choose the leader of the free world. Obama did so much damage we may never recover.

Sassy ... your point is well-taken ... it is not missed on people that we are geographically divided like the Civil War ... or the French Revolution

Other than California ... it should not be violent like the Civil War

Unfortunately, blue have entrapped themselves in the urban centers ... with no future, since growth is limited ... they have not grown cities in 50 years. They will just go along cause they can't organize.

I can see California and Seattle getting more destructive before things get better ... but they too are highly isolated and cannot prevail.

So ... we will watch blue people, burn blue cities ... and continue to wonder

I looked at each ... there is one or more reasons why it would be impossible for the other 10 states to leave peacefully or with force.

California could do it.

@sassygirl15: They can make a case where the rest of the states say good-bye ... California has over-reached for 40 years.

I can see a separation that would leave CA in a precarious situation ... they would have to join China.

Their downside would be trillions of debt, no currency, no defense, no way to administer the programs they love and no way to feed themselves ... and no hope to trade ... they have to price too high.

I doubt SanDiego would leave.
