I Dont Want to Spend the Valentine's Day Alone

Before I met hubs I would sometimes spend Valentines in unconventional ways. One afternoon I had coffee with an elderly couple in a nursing home. It was an amazing and uplifting experience. I took cookies to the ER one V-day night for the nurses working the night shift.
Taking the thoughts of what I didn't have and spinning them around really helped me. There was still a bit of sadness about being alone but it didn't seem as bad.
