I Wonder About Death

I watched something about death. This man hung himself in the woods. He had no type of identification. They think he probably came over from China to find work, maybe enough to bring family over, and just couldn't make it when he got here. Then the bag of what was left of him, his clothes and a few cards. They said he'd probably end up unclaimed and cremated. It surreal thinking someone on the other side of the world could be wondering what ever happened to their dad, husband, son, brother, etc. That is assuming he had someone to remember him. If he did, I wonder if they'd feel worse, thinking he left them and not knowing what truly happened, or knowing that there was at least one moment in which he was so alone and hurt that not even the thought of them could keep him from killing himself, if he even thought of them.

That's a tough call. While there might be some finality with death, no communication means there's both hope and, possibly, some anger.
Not having been in the situation I'd say most would want something definitive instead of uncertainty.
Sad story.

Yeah...The process they go through after you die. The scene of death, the morgue, autopsy, finding next of kin, what they do if you just stay an unclaimed John or Jane Doe etc.
