I really hope this year in gaming turns out to be better than last year. 2016 was a shitty year for video games. 2017 is looking promising so far but I won't be surprised if a lot of these titles end up just being more disappointments.

Destiny didn't do well in the PvP areas honestly, even less when they call it competitive, as it's just down to who has the better loot, honestly they should have the Crucible so everyone has a selection of loot they can use which is exclusive to the Crucible and looks very standard and such, these items would be the same as your foes, so theres actual skill involved, not just using Thorn or The Last Word to win.

Oh, it's competitive alright. Much better than CoD and Halo. Last Word and Thorn aren't much of the meta. They're good choices, but not ideal. Try Clever Dragon with hcr or max stability. You're describing Halo or CoD, Destiny is much different. In my opinion, Destiny is a pretty good game. Can't wait for Destiny 2!
