I Like the Sound of Rain

Hardly rains where I live; the ground is almost always dead and dry, and the days during Summer, Spring, Autumn and even winter some days is dead hot and humid. But this evening it began to rain.
Heavy rain complete with the sound and crackle of thunder bringing with it a chill. Can't wait to finish my housework and just curl up with a good book (or video game) and just relax listening to it.
