Just had a huge scare thinking I accidentally deleted all my saved photos and videos.

Now would be the time to do a backup. Either get an external hard drive or a cloud service. 50 bucks for a terrabyte. 120 for 5 terabytes. Pretty cheap. Cloud storage might be better, though: like iDrive. 15 bucks for a year of storage.

I'd also invest in a surge protector, while you're at it, if you don't have one.

Also set a system restore point.

You can back them up on icloud. They will get leaked and then you will never loose them..

Being scared is fun, you should delete them for real.
