Would you recommend getting a phone case? Or is a screen protector enough?

I finally broke down and bought a new phone. After having my old phone for about 6 years.

I put a screen protector on my new phone, and bought a case (it's a little snug, and that worries me.) I was wondering if the screen protector is enough. It's shatter, water, and shock proof.

I was in same situation as you. Had a cell phone for 7 years then 2 years ago I got my iPhone. I got screen protector and case. I'm glad I did. You just never can predict if you drop your phone or step on it.

@3venus: I was the exact same as you! And another thing with a case. You can clean it with disinfectant wipes to get rid of germs and not ruin your phone.

I always find the need to have both.. I am a bit meticulous with my stuff :/

Me too. That's why I asked, I could drop my old phone down a flight of stairs and the battery would fall out. With my new phone, I'm afraid if I look at it the wrong way it will crack. 😂
@3venus: yeah, I keep a lot of important stuff on my phone so it would be bad if it breaksdown from falling off or something

I think you have to know yourself and take into account how you carry/how likely you are to drop/etc everything with a phone. I like otterbox cases and have used one for a long time on my galaxy. I've recently changed to just a screen sticker thing cuz the phone is pretty old and I figure I'll replace it relatively soon.

Never used either.

But what if (fill in the blank)?! 😂

@3venus: It's not like I have it on me 24/7.

@CookiePounder: Completely understandable.
