Yesterday i found out that my father who ive been living with since i was a baby isnt my bilogical father

And im 24 years old and my mom has never told me the reason i found out is cause i met my real dads uncle so my mom and dad still dont know i know.... How would you feel in this situation?

Maybe she just didn't want you to know. It's nothing bad. A lot of parents choose not to tell their kids. That's especially prevalent in Russia- no one tells their kids they're adopted (my dad is Russian so I know this). I'm adopted. The only reason I know is my mom. My dad would've never told me. Some people just prefer the child not know. It's perfectly fine.

Well it wasnt just him it was my cousins from my moms side too theyve always known and weve always known my dads uncle and his family i just never knew he was my real uncle on my dads side i never even knew they were actually related to us until friday night when they told me everything and it definitely makes sense i just wanna know why my mom left him i mean at this point it doesnt really matter cause im old already i really dont care about meeting my dad but i just wanna know the truth

@Captainstrawhat: I worked with young people for years in a social work capacity.
The one thing they ALL used to say, without exception ! Is the thought of 'not knowing who they truly are'.
Not knowing if some of your traits are down to a missing person in your life.

I am sorry you had to find out that way. You deserved to be told the truth. I told my sons they were adopted as soon as they were capable of understanding what that meant.
