I just need a nice long walk in the woods, away from the never ending political fighting, just me and nature.

Just a long drive in the country in a scenic area does it for me...I need to go to the lake this weekend if the weather is nice...ought to go ahead and get my fishing license while I'm at it but it's probably gonna be too windy.

that would explain the tornado LOL we have em here, nothing compared to how many yall have though.

They usually skip over my city or get pulled up north of here to Moore, especially those EF-5 tornado. We did have one rain-wrapped storm that dropped a tornado on this city and did some damage, nobody died and no injuries. The last few skipped over the city and then drop down east of town. One did really bad damage in the rural areas east of the city, took many months to get it cleaned up. This one went to the lake and became a waterspout and did damages.

I deleted Facebook long ago for that reason and more, life is less stressful.

I just block that nonsense here on SW.

Hope you find your Peace ✌️😊
i dont really mind debating the issues if it is done in a civil manner. but, you know, civility is just not common on facebook. and i dont respond well to condescending attitudes and such. LOL on a couple of different occasions, i told people to come and meet me face to face and talk shit. when it gets to that point, i need a break, before i end up hurtin somebody. LOL

Nature is probably glaring at you and gearing up for a debate on whether or not humans are to blame for the climate crisis.

@cherokeepatti: Oh, me too patti...we need to get together in the future!🎑🤔 We'll plan this all out!👍🏼⭐

@Peaches: I'd build a rocket stove induction heater in my cabin to keep warm in the winter, they don't take a lot of firewood to heat the house up and it is a radiant heat too. And I want to sit next to a body of water in the afternoon and watch the water sparkle. Drove home from shopping this afternoon past a small lake with ducks on it and the water was sparkling. I would have loved to walked over there and sit down and just watch the water sparkle...but it's on state land and fenced so I can't.

@cherokeepatti: YES!!!🌅🦆🦆🦆Sounds wonderful. I use to go to the Native American sweat lodges on the coast that had a lake to jump in when we got through. It was one of the most uplifting experiences I ever had meeting them. There would always be a camp fire outside of the t-pee when we came out.🔥
