What if happiness and anger didn't exist?

Mass suicides would start happening

We wouldn't be living. Even animals experience those emotions. I've been told that even plant life experiences happiness and fear. I'm not sure if fear and anger equate on the emotional scale, but if even plants have those feelings, you can only imagine what doesn't. Hmmmm, rocks maybe!?
