I hate when people say "save the planet"..

I just have a problem with humans destroying the planet for animals who are just living.

If i used eco friendly fuel that doesn't mean i am saving the planet, even if the whole country used that fuel still it wouldn't be enough to make a different

We will kill the planet first, then we will die. And why? So a few rich people can live lives based on comfort and pleasure?

What they mean is: "Let's pretend we give two shits about the planet we fuck up by saying we should save said planet!"

They mean keep the planet inhabitable for future generations - great excuse to charge us all 'green' taxes.

It might be here still, but might also have been uninhabitable for quite some time.

It sure will.

But it doesn't give us dominion to do lasting damage to the planet, eradicating entire eco-systems and making extinct entire species. Certainly the wrong way to be going; and who knows, perhaps upsetting the planets' natural balance might cause irreparable damage... we certainly don't want to find out.

Saving the planet means keeping it as it's supposed to be - with trees, green space, animals etc. Just an abbreviation that everyone understands.
