Work more that 40 hrs ?

Do you and why ? I read an article online about making extra money this guy wanted to retire early. So he was saying about how he was making extra money by doing things in his spare time. Cus he said most ppl don't work more than 40 hrs. I do it's mandatory where I work plus it's what I need to do my work don't pay well so the overtime is a must.

So the question is do you work overtime and why. For me it's mandatory both Financial and work demands it.

No. I don't care about money. I value my time on this planet. I like to do things that dont cost money and I get by on very little

@Jonjdw: I understand how difficult it is to provide for a family. Long hours cant be avoided for some people. I dont have a family. I only have to look after myself. Im currently un-employed but seeking part time work.

@Jonjdw: I don't have that either. I been where you stood. Nowadays I don't have that much on me so I am able to cut back and enjoy time off. Do what you feel you need to do for yourself and your family. Our journeys are different.

I should work 40 hrs a week but I don't. The hrs just aren't given to me like that. However, my job is stressful and I work overnights. I make do with what I have. I've found that grinding so hard only led me to being sick. I'll stick to part time but do whatever you feel you need to. This just my opinion.

Also this guy in the article he said his job is stressful he makes real good money. He would not say how much. He said he and his wife are cutting experiences. And he is also making phone apps to save more money for early retirement.

I work between 35 hours and 120 hours depending on the time of the year. I don't get paid for the extra hours, and don't get time off in lieu of them. I do it because I care.

I work over time, mainly because if I dont things would get unmanageable the next day and the money is needed right now
