Is it irresponsible to quit your job if it's pissing you off?

That depends on how often you feel that way. Is it affecting your blood pressure? Giving you headaches?

If job gives you money but takes most of your energy, good mood and piece of mind, and you don't have family to support, it is not irresponsible at all.
