When I went to stay in a TINY village there - 3 shops, 1 museum which was mostly shut, about 4-500 houses mostly holiday homes - I met a 30+ woman who had NEVER left the village!!!! Cornwall is a scarey place haha

@coary987 The Cornish are Celtic. They're more closely related to the Bretons and Welsh, more distantly to the Scottish and Irish.
The original inhabitants of the British Isles were the Picts, who were displaced by the Celts thousands of years ago. The modern English are descended from the Anglo-Saxons who invaded from what is now Denmark around 1500 years ago, followed by the Vikings a few centuries later, then William the Conqueror leading the Norman French in 1066. All this pushed the Celtic people out to the fringes of the island.
