I've travelled to France, Germany,Italy, Greece, Hong Kong and mainland China alone and never experienced any problems - I'd say go for it 🙂

Really! How cool. I think it's one of those things you know where once you've done it you will do it again and again. I just need to leap in and pick somewhere

@Ross19: The best advice I can give you is to take a good phrase book with you as you can't expect everyone to speak English. 🙂. thanks for the best answer btw

@Dlrannie: That is a good tip and sounds daft but I didn't even think of that.

Lived abroad for the past 5 1/2 years straight, and traveled to 9 other countries alone. It's not too bad to travel alon3 and isn't something to worry about if you travel smart :) In fact, I actually feel safer where I live now than I ever did while in the USA.

@Ross19: You'd probably be surprised how easy it is to travel once you get the chance! Where do you think you want to go?

@ExploringThoughts: Not sure to be honest. I have the dates so I'm just going to book something anywhere available in my budget

There you go, that sounds like a plan!

There is no fun in travelling alone. For me it's better not going rather than going 😔 Sorry..

@Starlight016: Won't know for me until I go and travel.

You're right. That was based on my own experience. Hope you have a good trip :)

Yeah. I've been all over the place. Europe is a little different but it's still fine.
Yes I would. Just make sure your accommodation and transport is arranged beforehand.
