I can see what you're saying, I'm just being a nuisance. Although I think other counties name it soccer. I think it stems from 100 years ago when an association was formed and they named it soccer.

Also saying that all players are allowed to touch the ball with their hands is correct. What do players use to take throwings?

My dad always called it "tackleball" and taught me and my sister to refer to soccer as football. American football being labeled such still bugs him to this day. 😂
